


Writer -
Kim Wiltshire has recently completed her PhD (Theory & Creative Writing) on 'The Loser' at Lancaster University. She works as a creative writing lecturer for MMU Cheshire and also as a community artist and project manager for Lime, a health and arts charity, where she is currently working on the Cystic Fibrosis Transitions project. She recently had her short story, The Rose Seller, published in Commonword's Migration Stories, and last year Scenepool produced her short play 'The Loser' (part of the PhD thesis) at Camden People's Theatre. Kim has been commissioned to write scripts with young people around issues as diverse as knife crime, the Burnley 'riots' and social inclusion through organisations such as Activ8 at Bolton Octagon and Lets Go Global in Trafford. Joy With Child is her first full length play, and was written as part of a North West Playwrights group mentoring scheme called Nine Months Hard Labour.

Director -
This is Dean’s directorial debut. His recent Stage Management credits include ASM on 20 Stories High’s Ghost Boy and SM on The Benefit of Time with Organised Chaos which is to be performed at both Buxton Fringe and Preston Tringe Festivals. Dean has worked on various theatre projects, particularly for Manchester International Festival, including Punchdrunk’s, It Felt Like A Kiss and Walk The Plank’s, The Difference Engine. Dean also works as a sound and lighting operator for independent theatre companies. A graduate of the MA Critical Theory and Cultural Studies from The University of Nottingham, Dean also has a BA in English Studies and is involved in various writing projects as well as being a North West theatre reviewer for Total Theatre Magazine.


Designer – Alice Elizabeth Allen
Alice has been Organised Chaos’s Set Designer since November 2009.
She completed the company’s debut showing of ‘Seconds Out’ and ‘The Benefit of Time’ at Taurus Bar, and has designed both shows for new venues for the Write Now Festival, and Smith’s Dinner Theatre in Eccles.
Alice recently designed Organised Chaos's third show 'Afternoon Tea' for Taurus, which will be joining 'The Benefit of Time' at Buxton Fringe and Preston Tringe this summer.
Alice has also worked with the Bradford Playhouse, and with 20 Stories High on ‘Ghost Boy’ at the Contact Theatre, assisting with scenic painting and props making.

Stage Manager – Zoe Nicholas
Zoe studied at Manchester Metropolitan University and has worked in theatre for over
ten years, with occasional forays into film and TV. Zoe has recently worked as ASM
and technical operator on "Come Blow Your Horn"; "The Chalk Garden" and "The Killing
of Sister George" as well as volunteering as props assistant with the Royal Exchange
education department in Manchester.
She is delighted to be joining Organised Chaos
as stage manager for "Joy With Child"
